It’s Not Just Me – Why Client Proof Matters More Than Coach Results
Over the last few weeks I’ve shared my own data.
8 weeks. 1.9 kg of fat lost. Muscle gained. Waist down 3.2 cm. At 40.
And I know what some of you are thinking: “You’re a coach. Of course it works for you.”
Fair point.
So this week I’m sharing what happens when you apply the exact same system to someone who isn’t a coach.

The Result
One of our members just finished a 6-week block.
4.5% body fat lost. Over 2 kg of bodyweight down.
Training performance improved, not declined.
Not a coach. Not an athlete.
An adult with a full-time job, a busy schedule and all the normal constraints that come with being over 35.
What They Actually Did
Trained 3 to 4 times a week in our small group coaching sessions.
Followed the programme. Didn’t add extra sessions.
Hit their protein target most days. Not perfectly. Most days.

Didn’t cut out carbs. Didn’t skip meals.
Just restructured what they were already eating around the basics.
Slept better. Not perfectly. But prioritised it.
And they trusted the process when the scales weren’t moving in week 2 and 3.

The Week 2 Moment
In week 2 the scales hadn’t moved. This is where most people bail. They assume nothing is working.
But the waist was already down. Energy was up. Training felt easier.
The data was moving.
Just not the number they were watching.
If they’d quit in week 2, they’d have missed the 4.5% result by week 6.
Side by Side
My result: 1.9 kg fat lost, muscle gained, waist down 3.2 cm in 8 weeks at 40.
Their result: 4.5% body fat lost, over 2 kg down, performance improved in 6 weeks.
Different people. Different lives.
Same system. Same direction.
I recorded a full episode breaking the whole thing down – what they did, the week 2 moment where they nearly quit, and why the basics always win.

Why Client Proof Matters
A coach result can be dismissed as discipline, access or lifestyle.
You live in the gym. Of course it works for you.
A client result is harder to dismiss because it shows the system can transfer into a normal week.
That’s the difference between a personal routine and a coaching method.
One proves the coach is good. The other proves the method works.
The second one matters more.

Why This Matters
A coach getting results proves the coach is good. Clients getting results proves the method works. The second one matters more.
The system transfers because it accounts for real life. It expects disruption. It doesn’t require perfection. It requires the right inputs done consistently.
